Seoul National University (SNU) is providing scholarship opportunities for international students that are former or current sports administrators or athletes. The Dream Together Master Global Sport Management Graduate scholarship program is offered for the English-taught master program in the academic year 2023.
Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?
- Citizens who are not currently holding Korean nationalities and do not have Korean parents
- Students that are sports administrators or athletes in the current time or the past
- Students with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field of study
- Students with written and spoken English proficiency (proven by TOEFL iBT score minimum 80 or IELTS minimum 6,0 or TEPS minimum 298)
- Students that are healthy physically and mentally until the end of the program
- Students with potential and passion for sports management
The applicants with the following qualifications will be more preferred:
- Sports administrators and athletes from Official Development Aid (ODA) recipients recognized countries that are listed by the Development Assistance Committee (DAC).
- Sports administrators that are working for the government, National Olympic Committees, National Federation, or other sports organizations belonging to the government and/or recommended by the government sports organizations or the National Olympic Committees.
- Athletes who have participated in major international sporting events such as Olympics, Asian Games, World Championships with a recommendation from the government sports organizations or the National Olympic Committees.
This scholarship is offered for the master’s degree program in sports management at SNU.

- Download the online form provided by Seoul National University
- Fill in the application form
- Send the application form and required documents to the program admission email address with [Nationality] – [Last name, First name] as the subject before the closing date of online registration
- Receive a confirmation email about the application completion
- Submit the original or notarized hard copy of the required documents to the SNU Division of Global Sport Management Talent Development address
- Make sure that the hard file documents arrived before the closing date of documents submission
- Completed Application Form
- Personal Statement and Study Plan
- Two Letters of Recommendation from the applicants’ professors and/or employers
- Bachelor’s (Undergraduate Studies) Transcript and Certificate of Graduation (in English)
- Copy of applicants and both of the parent’s passports or proof of nationality
- Proof of parent-child relationship (Birth Certificate or Household Register)
- English proficiency certificate or any other official documents proofing the applicant’s English proficiency (E.g. School profile/medium of instruction letter; if fully taught in English)
- Curriculum Vitae stating current and/or previous position and affiliation)
- Certificate of employment from current and previous jobs
- Optional supporting documents (Awards, Scholarships, Proof of Language Proficiency other than English, etc.)
- Explanatory Statement (if needed and applicable)
- Form of required documents checklist
All documents must be submitted in the original or notarized form. Documents that are written in other than Korean or English must be notarized by the country where the documents are released and translated into English or Korean. Committees might ask applicants to submit additional documents if needed.
- The applicants that passed the selection of the documents will be interviewed around April
- The online interview schedule will be informed via email
- Successful candidates list will be announced on the SNU official admission website in May 2023
- The course programs will start in September 2023
The deadline for online registration is 31 March 2023. The document submission will be accepted until 7 April 2023.
