Build your academic excellence with an international degree earned in Malaysia. International students can apply for the Provost’s Excellence Awards offered for the academic year 2023-2024 by the University of Nottingham Malaysia. This scholarship is not just limited to international students, Malaysian national students can also participate. Ideal candidates are financially deprived undergraduate students with upper-class average marks who have been offered admission in their desired programme at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. The scholarship will be awarded to 6 students and will cover the full cost of tuition. The University of Nottingham Malaysia was founded in 2000 and is a private university branch campus of the University of Nottingham, which ranks 114th in QS World University Rankings 2023. The university is situated in Semenyih, Selangor, Malaysia, and imparts top-quality education.

Eligibility

• Eligible Countries: Overseas and Malaysian students must apply.
• Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate-level degree programmes offered at the University of Nottingham can be applied for.
• Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
• The applicants must be facing financial hardship and require financial support to attend university.
• The applicants must have obtained an unconditional offer to study undergraduate programme in September 2023.
• The applicants must be active in sports and extra-curricular activities.
• The applicants must maintain a second upper-class average marks in each academic year.

How to Apply

• How to Apply: Students must sign in on the university portal to apply. Scholarship applications must be submitted to sponsorship@nottingham.edu.myin the attachment of all required documents to be considered.
• Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
• Proof of English language competency
• Copy of National Residence Identification Card (NRIC), for Malaysians
• Identification page of passport (photo page only), for international applicants
• Malaysian permanent residence card
• Under the 18 consent form
• Relevant academic transcripts (SPM/IGCSE/O Levels/High School Diploma/AS level)
• Other relevant higher qualifications (i.e. A level/STPM / UEC/IB Diploma/Foundation/Diploma)
• Forecast results (if official results are not yet available)
• Certificate or letter of completion (if examinations have been completed)
• Admission Requirements: Students must have completed high school graduation.
• Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
• IELTS – 6.0
• TOEFL IBT – 79
• PTE – 65
